Market Opportunity Slide (Investor Deck)

Market Opportunity (2025 baseline)

  • TAM$182B (AI infrastructure). All spending on AI compute, cloud, and services
  • SAM$48B (IAM $22.9B + AI Platforms $18.2B + API Mgmt $6.9B)
  • SOM$5M → $480M (0.01%–1% of SAM scenarios; realistic 3–5yr ranges)
  • Why it matters: 84% of devs are using AI tools — big demand for unified, secure access and cost control

Speaker Notes (1-2 lines each)

  • "TAM ~ $182B (AI infra) shows the macro spend on AI compute & services; our SAM is the $48B slice we can address via auth, routing & billing for AI consumption."
  • "To reach meaningful revenues quickly we'll target high-ARPU channels: SDK partnerships + enterprise pilots (one $250k ARR customer replaces ~2k consumer subscribers)."
  • "Developer adoption is already high (84% use AI tools), giving us a large, reachable top-of-funnel for a developer-first GTM."

Methodology & Caveats

TAM vs SAM Logic: Used AI Infrastructure as absolute TAM (all spending on hardware, cloud, service stacks for AI). AI Wallet's SAM is the narrower software + management slice (IAM, API mgmt, AI platforms) to avoid double-counting.

Conservative Stance: Overlap exists between "AI platforms" and "API management" and parts of IAM — to be conservative, did not add other AI software figures and kept SAM focused on segments AI Wallet directly addresses.

SOM Scenarios: Purely capture-rate assumptions (0.01%–1% of SAM). Use these as ranges; push investor conversation toward how you'll get there (enterprise pilots, SDK embeds, developer channels, rev-share deals).
